Illuminate Bathurst marked the first of 3 Bicentenary community celebrations which saw an estimated turnout of 8,000+ residents and visitors. The first event had it all including live bands, circus performers, pyrotechnic display, regional food & wine, a proclamation re-enactment, a 300 person strong lantern parade and a kid’s glo-disco. To top it off, various landmark buildings around the city centre were brought to life through a specially designed light show featuring detailed projection mapping and animation. The event represented one of the largest turnouts for a non-motor racing event in the city’s 200 year history.
Mojo was engaged by Bathurst Regional Council to assist in the event planning and execution.
